After Godwin was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 33rd round of the MLB draft, some wondered if Godwin would take a hard look at turning pro. Well, he isn't. His mother Olivia Godwin told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that her son plans to stick with his Georgia commitment and play for the Bulldogs this fall.

"The plan going to Georgia was to play baseball and football," Olivia Godwin said. "I think once he got there, he got settled in and he's enjoying it. So anything that makes our son happy, we're OK with that."

Now, the only question is how new Georgia offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer will use Godwin, who was rated the No. 5 athlete prospect by ESPN's RecruitingNation in the 2015 class.
