DGD ELITE MARSHALL MORGAN EARNS SPOT ON LOU GROZA AWARD WATCHLIST

Georgia Senior and Damn Good Dawg Elite place-kicker Marshall Morgan has been named one of several semifinalists for the Lou Groza Award, according to an announcement from the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.

Marshall led the Southeastern Conference with 115 points in 2014, including a school record 67 PATs and 16 made field goals. Entering his senior season, the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native has been named to the Lou Groza Award Watch List as one of the nation’s top kickers.

.FBS head coaches and SIDs, past Groza finalists and national and regional football writers will vote to select the three finalists. The 6-3, 200-pound native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. was 16-for-21 on field in 2014 with a long of 53. He was 22-for-24, leading the SEC in field goals made and setting the school record for most consecutive makes in a season with 17. Go DAWGS
